| This was my first litter of the New Selkirk Rex (below). These Selkirk Rex kittens are of excellent quality and coat curl. Not to mention nice all round Family Pet. The girls would show anywhere in the Lounge and the Show ring. The chinchilla/shade Selkirk Rex is a long haired straight Lovely male equally as good looking but without the Curl but not lacking in anything else exceptional personality. The other male is a Super Golden Tabby and is just as lovely. The males are offered as pet only. | |||

Pringle (below)...I think she is a blue/cream golden. These are all new colours here in
the UK as is the breed of Selkirk Rex
and a waiting time to see how they develop is needed in the coloured
silver and golden series. The matings have several possibilities and
when the kittens are younger a dilute golden is very hard to
differentiate from a dominant due to the golden lightening as they
progress.

We
would like to welcome Attwaters Jumping Jack to Tremarie..A big
thank you to Sandra Jennifer Attwater for this lovely curly boy and for
driving all the way to Calais to meet us. Jack is a Selkirk Rex cream
shaded and the curls are Super. He was awarded BIS when shown by Jennifer
and has his winning Goblet. I feel as if I have waited for a long time for
this little boy who has a very good international pedigree, Looks accurate
for the SOP and has a lovely personality - He was worth the waiting. We
are hoping that Jack will be our our future stud and propose to put him to
our Chinchillas shades and lilacs. He has colourpoint way back in the
pedigree and we hope that we will be able to call on this from this line.
Jack will be a real asset to the breed and hope to see his progeny on the
show bench..

Myself, being one of the pioneers! I have purposely brought all homozygous curly cats (Which when out-crossed to a straight hair Selkirk, Persian or Exotic will, in my opinion, help to keep a good strong curl in the breed ).
